How We Make Our Treats Matter
We all love our dogs like family, and as pet owners we want them to live long, happy, and healthy lives. Wanting to give our own pets the very best, we set out to make wholesome and healthy dog treats with an all-natural process. To do this properly, we knew that we would need to control each and every detail of the production, from ingredient sourcing and oven roasting to hand packing and quality control testing.
To best do this, we decided to build our very own state-of-the-art kitchen in Thailand, where we carefully source natural, locally grown ingredients. Our treats are made with only premium, human grade components. As defined by AAFCO, meat by-products include necks, feet, undeveloped eggs, intenstines, and are commonly used as a cheap filler material in treats and food. Our treats, however, contain only the finest, human grade meats.
Because of their low price and vast availability, wheat, corn, and soy are often used in treats and food as low quality protein sources. In addition to lacking the full amino acid profile necessary for building muscle, these grains are common allergens and often difficult to digest. Our treats are rich in the high quality animal protein that your dog deserves.
Excessive salt, often used as a flavour enhancer and preservative, can be unhealthy for your dog. Our treats are oven baked to lock in the natural flavours and aromas, and have absolutely no added salt.
Glycerin is often added to pet foods and treats as a filler, sweetener, binder, and softener. Glycerin of unknown, unregulated origin brings the risk of harmful chemical contaminants, but with our VitaLife All Natural Dog Treats, you can be sure there is no added glycerin.
